the Kg upon opening His Letters mentioned the Request Ernest had made to go to Hannover & Brunsvic with Prince William, He said it was what He would not grant got up to answer it immediately saying that the Army was the only Place where an Officer ought to remain particularly when He Commanded a Regiment. that being the Case I hope You are aware that the present Moment would not be proper to interfere whatever I may feel upon the Subject'; on Mrs Scott Signed
